How we work: steam, and the right method for the job

Steam has been our reference method since 2012. It cleans through heat rather than through volume of water and pressure: pressurised steam dissolves grease and lifts dirt, and the surfaces are then wiped dry. There is no run-off, no recovery tank and no fixed installation to plan for.

That is what allows us to work where the vehicle is — outside your building, on a company car park, in a depot — rather than asking you to travel.

What steam does better

Inside: it sanitises, it does not mask

Heat reaches into seat and carpet fibres, into gaps, into ventilation grilles and contact surfaces. It lifts ingrained soiling and disinfects, without saturating the cabin with product and without leaving the vehicle damp for hours.

That matters on any vehicle used by several people: pool cars, service vehicles, buses.

Outside: it cleans without attacking

No mechanical brushing, no abrasion. Steam lifts the film of dirt and is then wiped off. On dark paint especially, that avoids the fine swirl marks left by automatic washes.

Where steam is not the answer

We do not defend one single process. On heavily soiled vehicles — construction vans, machinery, badly neglected fleets — high-pressure washing is faster and cheaper, and that is what we use.

The choice is made when we see the vehicles, according to their condition, the frequency and the terms of the contract. We tell you which we recommend and why. What we commit to is the result, not the process.

What we need on site

• Access to electricity, within about 50 metres of the vehicle. Our steam equipment needs it.
• An accessible space around the vehicle so the team can work.

Nothing else. No water point, no drainage, no fixed installation.

How our teams work

• No metal items. Our teams wear no rings, bracelets, chains or watches during the job. A scratch on a door panel is not fixed with a cloth.
• Professional, biodegradable products, used in small quantities.
• Discreet working. We take up the minimum of space and disturb neither your neighbours nor your colleagues.
